Job description

Gen AI Solution Architect - Inside/ 12 Months/ remote A leading international organisation is seeking an experienced Gen AI Solution Architect to drive the design, governance and adoption of enterprise-scale Generative AI and Agentic AI solutions. This role will play a key part in shaping the organisation’s AI strategy, defining reusable architectural patterns, and ensuring AI initiatives deliver measurable business value in a secure and scalable manner. Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with senior stakeholders to define AI product vision, roadmap, ownership and value realisation.
  • Design end-to-end Generative AI and Agentic AI architectures using the Microsoft technology stack.
  • Develop reusable patterns and frameworks for:
  • Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG)
  • Agent orchestration
  • Multi-agent collaboration
  • Knowledge retrieval
  • Human-in-the-loop workflows and decision support
  • Ensure AI solutions align with security, privacy, compliance and governance requirements.
  • Support the development of observability, monitoring and interoperability capabilities.
  • Embed controls for access management, auditability, transparency and accountability.
  • Assess AI vendors, platforms and models to support build vs buy decisions.
  • Monitor emerging AI technologies and identify opportunities to create business value.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Solution Architect, AI Architect or similar role within large and complex enterprise environments.
  • Strong experience across Microsoft Azure, Microsoft 365, Copilot, Power Platform and Fabric.
  • Deep understanding of Generative AI, Agentic AI, RAG architectures, orchestration frameworks and automation patterns.
  • Experience designing secure, scalable and governed AI solutions.
  • Strong understanding of security, privacy, compliance and governance frameworks.
  • Excellent stakeholder management, communication and influencing skills.
  • Ability to translate strategic objectives into practical technology solutions.
  • Experience defining business outcomes, success metrics and value realisation frameworks.

Desirable Experience

  • Copilot Studio, Azure AI Foundry and Azure OpenAI.
  • Experience with emerging agent-based AI platforms and frameworks.
  • Implementation of Responsible AI policies and governance controls.
  • Data, analytics, digital transformation or enterprise platform programme experience.
  • Building reusable AI products, services or accelerators.
  • Microsoft certifications across Azure, AI, Architecture, Fabric or Power Platform.
