Job description

Hexaware seeks Computer Systems Engineer I to work in Iselin, NJ and various unanticipated locations throughout the US to verify stability, interoperability, portability, or scalability of system architecture; Develop system and software engineering, system integration, and distributed system architecture; Design, configure, operate, and maintain network and computer systems; Work with stakeholders to understand specific system requirements and identify system data, hardware, or software components required to meet user needs; Design and conduct hardware or software tests; Monitor system operation to detect problems and conduct hardware or software testing. Must have a Bachelor’s Degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Computer Applications, Computer Information Systems, Information Technology, Engineering (any), or related field, plus two years of IT experience. The two years must include one year of experience with any one of the following skill sets:

  • SQL Server, Service Now, and Control-M;

  • Scrum, Azure, and AWS; OR

  • PowerShell, VMware vSphere/ESXi, and Cisco UCS.

In lieu of a Bachelor’s Degree (or foreign equivalent), we will accept a Bachelor’s Degree (or foreign equivalent) earned through any suitable combination of education, training, and/or experience, as determined by a professional evaluation service. All experience may be acquired concurrently. Domestic travel and relocation to various unanticipated locations throughout the US may be required up to and no more than 10%, based on Hexaware’s business needs, and will be reimbursed by employer.
