Requirements

  • 8+ years of production engineering experience
  • Deep expertise in Python, including Django and FastAPI
  • Strong experience managing full AWS infrastructure, including:EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, VPC, IAM, CloudWatch, CloudFront, Route 53, SQS/SNS, and Secrets Manager
  • Advanced PostgreSQL experience, including schema design, query optimization, indexing, and replication
  • Elasticsearch experience, including indexing, query optimization, and cluster management
  • Experience using Redis and Celery for asynchronous task infrastructure and caching
  • Strong experience with React or an equivalent modern JavaScript framework
  • Experience integrating third-party APIs across multiple vendors
  • Hands-on experience integrating LLMs, including Anthropic and OpenAI APIs
  • Experience building data pipelines and aggregation systems
  • Security-conscious engineering experience, including: Encryption at rest and in transit, Audit logging, Role-based access control
  • Ability to own systems end-to-end, from architecture and development through deployment and production support

Nice to Have

  • Data engineering or ETL experience
  • Machine learning or applied AI engineering experience
  • Experience building infrastructure for regulated industries

Tenure and Profile Requirements

  • Four or more years at each of your last two companies is preferred
  • Demonstrated history of long-term system ownership rather than frequent short-term roles
  • Strong professional references from managers who worked with you for at least three years
  • We are looking for engineers who build for the long term and remain committed to the systems they own
