Job description

The CNC Programmer will develop and maintain CNC programs, provide shop floor support, troubleshoot machining issues, and improve manufacturing processes for large gas turbine components. This is a 2nd shift role supporting complex multi-axis CNC machining in a high-volume manufacturing environment.

Requirements

4+ years of CNC programming experience using a CAM system.
Ability to program CNC parts from scratch.
Strong hands-on machinist background with setup and first-piece prove-out experience.
Experience supporting CNC machining operations and troubleshooting.
Ability to read engineering drawings and maintain tight tolerances.

Preferred Requirements

Siemens NX CAM experience.
5-axis CNC programming experience.
Vericut experience.
Experience with Renishaw probing, macro programming, and CLM.
Large machine (VTL, VBM, Gantry) and gas turbine or aerospace machining experience.
Experience machining nickel-based alloys (Inconel, Hastelloy, Rene).
Familiarity with Fanuc, Haas, Okuma, and Siemens controls.
