Digital Systems Administrator

Advanced CareTech is seeking a knowledgeable and dependable Digital Systems Administrator to manage and support our organization’s digital systems and technology operations.

This position is responsible for maintaining the reliability, security, and performance of our WordPress websites, hosting environments, Google Workspace, MangoApps platform, internal mobile applications, and daily IT support services. The ideal candidate is organized, security-minded, customer-service oriented, and committed to maintaining accurate technical documentation and operational standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain, update, secure, and optimize WordPress websites, themes, and plugins.

• Manage website hosting environments, including cPanel, Plesk, DNS records, SSL certificates, backups, and performance optimization.

• Support the development, testing, deployment, updating, and troubleshooting of internal iOS and Android applications.

• Administer Google Workspace accounts, groups, email routing, applications, permissions, and security policies.

• Manage MangoApps users, permissions, modules, ticketing workflows, and system configurations.

• Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 technical support for hardware, software, network connectivity, MFA, account access, and related issues.

• Perform routine system updates, patching, monitoring, maintenance, and troubleshooting.

• Maintain accurate documentation for system configurations, workflows, processes, and standard operating procedures.

• Enforce cybersecurity standards, including MFA, password policies, access controls, endpoint protection, and backup integrity.

• Monitor backup systems and assist with backup testing, validation, recovery, and business continuity processes.

• Identify opportunities to automate routine processes and improve operational efficiency.

• Communicate professionally with employees, leadership, vendors, and other stakeholders.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a closely related field.

• Strong experience administering WordPress websites, including themes, plugins, security, updates, and troubleshooting.

• Experience managing website hosting platforms such as cPanel or Plesk.

• Working knowledge of DNS, SSL certificates, website backups, and server performance optimization.

• Experience administering Google Workspace accounts, applications, email configurations, and security settings.

• Experience supporting mobile application development using Flutter, React Native, native iOS, or native Android technologies.

• Ability to provide efficient and professional end-user technical support.

• Understanding of networking fundamentals, including IP addressing, DHCP, Wi-Fi troubleshooting, and VPN connectivity.

• Knowledge of MFA, password policies, access controls, endpoint protection, and other cybersecurity best practices.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

• Excellent organizational, documentation, problem-solving, and customer-service skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

• Experience administering MangoApps or a similar collaboration and helpdesk ticketing platform.

• Experience publishing or maintaining applications in the Apple App Store or Google Play Store.

• Experience with PowerShell, Bash, or Python scripting.

• Experience with backup monitoring, validation, restoration, and recovery workflows.

• Experience supporting technology operations within a governance- or compliance-focused organization.

Preferred Certifications

The following certifications are helpful but not required:

• WordPress Administrator certification

• Google Analytics certification

• Google Workspace Administrator certification

• Google IT Support Professional Certificate

• Flutter Developer certification

• React Native certification

• Apple App Development with Swift certification
