Job description

  • Design, configure, maintain, and optimize Workday HCM and other assigned enterprise applications.
  • Analyze business requirements and determine the feasibility of system modifications, enhancements, and workflow improvements.
  • Build and maintain system configurations that support business processes and organizational objectives.
  • Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of Workday functionality and business workflows.
  • Lead the deployment of Workday feature releases, updates, and system maintenance while ensuring functional requirements are met.
  • Identify opportunities for system optimization and collaborate with vendors, IT teams, project managers, and business stakeholders to implement effective solutions.
  • Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve complex system issues using independent judgment and analytical skills.
  • Develop alternative solutions when system limitations exist and recommend best practices.
  • Plan, coordinate, and deliver end-user communications and training related to new functionality, enhancements, and application updates.
  • Create and maintain user guides, educational materials, and training documentation.
  • Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams and participate in cross-functional projects.
  • Participate in ongoing application training to maintain expertise in Workday functionality and organizational processes.
  • Support application implementations, upgrades, and deadline-driven projects, including occasional after-hours or weekend support as needed.
  • Promote exceptional customer service while supporting internal customers and healthcare operations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business, Human Resources, Healthcare Administration, Computer Science, or a related field.

OR * Equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.

  • Experience supporting Workday HCM or comparable Human Capital Management systems.
  • Strong understanding of system configuration, workflow design, testing, implementation, and application support.
  • Experience analyzing business requirements and translating them into system solutions.
  • Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to quickly learn new technologies and applications.
