Job description
As a DevOps Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the design, implementation, and deployment of enterprise applications. You will be responsible for building and maintaining CI/CD frameworks that enable consistent, automated management of applications and infrastructure across diverse environments. Additionally, you will contribute to digital transformation initiatives focusing on next-generation microservices applications and smart meter management solutions.
Responsibilities

Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines.

Maintain build servers and release automation infrastructure.

Migrate legacy CI/CD toolkits to GitHub and GitHub Actions.

Support production deployments with Cloud Operations teams.
-
Assist U.S. development teams and eliminate deployment bottlenecks during EST hours.

Collaborate with DevOps teams in India to ensure rapid issue resolution.
Requirements
-
Proficiency in DevOps tools and practices.

Experience with GitHub and designing/implementing CI/CD pipelines.

Ability to maintain build servers and release automation.

Strong scripting skills in Python or PowerShell.

Experience supporting Cloud, SaaS, or embedded systems.

Knowledge of tools such as Git, Bamboo, Bitbucket, Azure Cloud, Octopus, Kubernetes, Ansible, and Chef.

Familiarity with Agile methodologies.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.

The ideal candidate would be onsite or near a Honeywell site. You will be part of a major digital transformation initiative, deploying next-generation microservices applications across North America. The role offers two weeks of PTO and observes Honeywell holidays, allowing for a balanced work-life dynamic.

This is a Contract position based out of Raleigh, NC.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $60.00 - $62.00/hr.
