- Prepare and enter daily and month-end journal entries
- Perform timely and accurate general ledger account reconciliations with research on variances
- Support participation in the monthly close process
- Review bank activity and assist with contract billing support
- Assist with quarter and year-end audits as required
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams as a liaison for accounting information
- Support special projects and help maintain confidential information
Requirements

You ll prepare journal entries, reconcile accounts, and support month-end close activities plus contribute to the ongoing Great Plains to Oracle ERP conversion. - Demonstrated ability to navigate new processes during system/ERP transitions
- Advanced Excel skills to analyze and reconcile financial data
- Confidence working independently while maintaining strong communication, * 4+ years (preferred) of senior staff accountant/general ledger accounting experience
- Bachelor s Degree in Accounting
- Knowledge of GAAP and federal/state regulatory requirements
- General Ledger experience (journal entries, account reconciliations)
- Proficient Excel skills (Pivot Tables required)
- Ability to manage deadlines and work effectively under pressure
