Job description

Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
Assist with month-end close, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and variance analysis.
Manage revenue recognition and work-in-process (WIP) accounting across multiple profit centers.
Maintain the general ledger and ensure the accuracy of financial reporting.
Support intercompany billing activities and financial analysis.
Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and audit support.
Analyze large data sets using advanced Excel functions to identify trends and improve reporting.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline accounting processes.

Requirements

They are seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to join their finance team. This is a direct hire opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, thrives on solving complex accounting challenges, and has strong SAP and Excel experience. This individual will play a key role in month-end close, financial reporting, reconciliations, and revenue/WIP accounting across multiple profit centers., * Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (required).

Approximately 5+ years of progressive accounting experience.
Hands-on experience with SAP
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
Strong background in account reconciliations, financial reporting, and month-end close.
Experience with revenue recognition and WIP accounting.
Knowledge of GAAP and general ledger accounting.
Experience with CFIN, OneStream, or similar financial reporting tools is a plus.
Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
