Job description

  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
  • Assist with month-end close, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and variance analysis.
  • Manage revenue recognition and work-in-process (WIP) accounting across multiple profit centers.
  • Maintain the general ledger and ensure the accuracy of financial reporting.
  • Support intercompany billing activities and financial analysis.
  • Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and audit support.
  • Analyze large data sets using advanced Excel functions to identify trends and improve reporting.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline accounting processes.

Requirements

They are seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to join their finance team. This is a direct hire opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, thrives on solving complex accounting challenges, and has strong SAP and Excel experience. This individual will play a key role in month-end close, financial reporting, reconciliations, and revenue/WIP accounting across multiple profit centers., * Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (required).

  • Approximately 5+ years of progressive accounting experience.
  • Hands-on experience with SAP
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
  • Strong background in account reconciliations, financial reporting, and month-end close.
  • Experience with revenue recognition and WIP accounting.
  • Knowledge of GAAP and general ledger accounting.
  • Experience with CFIN, OneStream, or similar financial reporting tools is a plus.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
