You’ll work closely with our internal team and freelance partners to develop brands, advertising campaigns, digital experiences, and communications materials that help our clients achieve their goals.

The position is full-time and based in our Roanoke, VA office. This role offers significant opportunity for growth into an Associate Creative Director or Creative Director position as the agency continues to expand.

Responsibilities

  • Lead creative concept development and visual execution across a wide range of client projects.
  • Design and produce creative materials for print, digital, social media, web, video, collateral, presentations, proposals, environmental graphics, and more.
  • Develop and maintain visual brand identities, including logos, brand standards, templates, and supporting assets.
  • Collaborate with account staff to translate marketing strategies into effective creative solutions.
  • Present creative concepts and recommendations to internal teams and clients, as needed.
  • Provide creative direction and feedback to freelance designers, copywriters, photographers, videographers, web developers, and other creative partners.
  • Assist in planning and directing photo shoots, video production, and other creative content development.
  • Ensure projects are completed with a high level of quality, accuracy, and attention to detail while meeting deadlines and budgets.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced agency environment.
  • Stay current on emerging design trends, technologies, and best practices across print, digital, advertising, and branding disciplines.

Requirements

  • 6 to 8 years of professional graphic design, art direction, or creative experience, preferably within an agency.
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating branding, advertising, print, digital, and campaign development experience.
  • Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud, including InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop.
  • Experience developing creative concepts from initial strategy through final execution.
  • Strong understanding of branding, typography, layout, visual storytelling, and user experience principles.
  • Ability to manage print production, including working knowledge of print processes, color systems, etc.
  • Working knowledge of website design and digital marketing best practices.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and pivot quickly.
  • Self-starter who takes ownership of work and follows through.
  • Strategic thinker who can balance creative vision with client objectives and business goals.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design and/or Advertising/Marketing or a related field preferred., * Bachelor’s (Preferred), * Graphic design: 6 years (Preferred)
