Job description
- Accurately enter and maintain donor and medical data within computerized systems
- Review records, identify discrepancies, and ensure data accuracy and compliance
- Perform document imaging and electronic filing using Laserfiche Imaging System
- Maintain donor charts, records, and database files in accordance with established procedures
- Run reports, audit records, and correct discrepancies as needed
- Support donor database maintenance, including demographics and eligibility tracking
- Assist with clerical and administrative tasks including filing, record maintenance, and communication support
- Maintain confidentiality and comply with all HIPAA, regulatory, and organizational policies
- Work collaboratively with healthcare staff to ensure timely and accurate data processing
Requirements

- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to manage confidential information with professionalism and accuracy
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Preferred:
- Experience working in blood center in a clinic/hospital setting
- Familiarity with document imaging systems such as Laserfiche
- Experience with EMR/EHR or database systems
- Knowledge of medical terminology and HIPAA compliance
