Solution Designer (M365 Services)

The consultant will join the Content & Collaboration Services - Digital Collaboration team and will be responsible for designing, implementing and supporting Microsoft 365-based collaboration solutions. The consultant will play a lead role in both M365-based projects and content management projects connecting or integrating with M365. Having a lead role implies that you act as broker between business stakeholders, project manager, junior functionals and technical team members. Comparable to internal Product Owner. Key tasks include:

• Assessing business needs and use cases related to digital collaboration and productivity, including AI-enabled scenarios.
• Designing Microsoft 365 solutions (functional design) based on customer requirements, governance constraints and security standards.
• Configuring and customizing Microsoft 365 applications (e.g. SharePoint Online, Teams, OneDrive, Planner, Viva Engage) and relevant third-party solutions.
• Supporting the adoption and integration of Microsoft 365 Copilot and lightweight Copilot Agents in business scenarios, in alignment with governance and compliance requirements.
• Facilitating workshops and working sessions with business stakeholders to promote Microsoft 365 best practices and gather requirements.
• Producing solution documentation, estimates and hand-over materials.
• Participating in project ceremonies (sprint meetings, project meetings, steering committees) and interacting with internal and external stakeholders.
• Collaborating with M365 administrators, security and governance stakeholders where required.
• Configuring, customizing and troubleshooting Powell technology solutions within the Microsoft 365 collaboration environment.

You are fluent in Dutch (minimum C1 equivalent), have a good understanding of French (minimum B1 equivalent), and are able to work professionally in English (minimum C1 equivalent), * You have at least 4 years of professional experience working with Microsoft 365 applications, including SharePoint Online, Microsoft Teams, OneDrive, Planner and Viva Engage. Experience with SharePoint On-Premises does not count.

• You have at least 4 years of hands-on experience configuring and customizing Microsoft 365 applications and Microsoft 365 third-party solutions, based on customer requirements or specifications received, with the majority of Microsoft 365 applications.
• You have hands-on professional experience (minimum 2 customer or project references) organizing and delivering workshops aimed at increasing business awareness of Microsoft 365 best practices.
• Client-reference of hands-on professional experience in defining, implementing or enforcing Microsoft 365 governance policies.
• You have at least 3 years of professional experience working in project environments, including sprint meetings, project meetings and steering committees, and are able to communicate professionally with stakeholders.
• You have at least 2 years of experience in the domain of people transport or within an organization of comparable size and complexity (22,000+ employees).
• You are fluent in Dutch (minimum C1 equivalent), have a good understanding of French (minimum B1 equivalent), and are able to work professionally in English (minimum C1 equivalent).
• You hold a Master degree with specialisation in Information & Technology
• You have min. 2 years experience with Microsoft 365 Copilot, including Copilot Chat and lightweight Copilot Agents, and how Microsoft 365 agents can be applied to business scenarios within an enterprise environment.
• You have proven experience to assess business-driven AI opportunities and translate them into compliant Microsoft 365 Copilot solutions, aligned with governance, security and functional requirements.
• 2 years hands-on experience configuration and troubleshooting activities performed on Powell technology solutions, including issue analysis, resolution approach and alignment with Microsoft 365 best practices.

• Willing to work on-site in Brussels at least 2 days a week EVALUATION CRITERIA

• Min 2 Project references concerning the ability to translate business needs into solution breakdowns and workload estimations.
• Proven Effectiveness in capturing and formalizing business requirements, particularly multi-entity stakeholder interaction .
• Proven experience in solution documentation delivered for client hand-over and maintenance purposes.
• Min. 5 years of Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) practices applied to Microsoft 365 solutions.
• Depth of experience interacting with Microsoft 365 Admin Centers, including operational awareness and best practices.
• Added value in security and compliance awareness, demonstrated through practical application in Microsoft 365 solution delivery. The more experience/knowledge the better your proposal will be evaluated for this criterion.
• Proven record of assessing AI opportunities and translating them into value-driven Microsoft 365 Copilot solutions (provide 1-2 concrete references).
• Proven record of designing and implementing Copilot-based solutions, including Copilot Chat and/or lightweight agents in production scenarios (provide 1-2 concrete references).
• Hands-on experience with Syntex, AI Builder, Enterprise Search or RAG-based solutions is considered a plus (provide 1-2 concrete references).
