Job description
At CRANIUM, you wonât be stuck reviewing documents and writing advice on paper. Youâll help clients use the law to solve real problems, from AI contracts to GDPR compliance.
As Junior digital law consultant, youâll be part of our Digital Law team: a group of legal minds, tackling legal challenges in AI, data, and digital strategy who make the law work in the real world.
And yes, youâll work on live projects from the start, with mentoring, check-ins, and space to grow to help you get started.
As part of our legal team, youâll:
- Support clients with advice on contracting, ICT law, AI law, and data protection
- Dig into legal research and help translate these abstract laws into practical advice for the client
- Join client meetings, listen actively, and present findings that bring solutions
- Help spot legal risks before they become business blockers
- Keep learning and share knowledge with colleagues; youâre never working alone here
Youâll work across sectors and alongside consultants in tech, privacy, compliance, and even security. Working at CRANIUM is doing legal work that goes beyond the textbook.
Requirements
- Holds a Master in Law. LLM in IP & ICT is a plus.
- Has between 1 to 3 years of relevant legal experience. Experience in law firms is a plus.
- Has a strong interest in digital law and emerging tech and is willing to keep on deepening their knowledge.
- Enjoys solving legal puzzles and turning problems into innovative solutions.
- Communicates clearly and openly, you are fluent in Dutch and/or French, and English, both spoken and in writing.
- Brings positive energy, curiosity, and a âyes we canâ mindset through taking initiative and aiming higher in every task.
- Works well with others: is sociable, collaborative, and honest with colleagues and clients alike., If you are a recent graduate or have limited experience in digital law or privacy, youâll be invited to join our Young Graduate Programme. This programme is designed to help you grow alongside peers, get hands-on experience, and fully immerse yourself in the CRANIUM culture.
