Job description
- Design and simulate photonic components using tools like Lumerical.
- Develop PIC layouts in IPKISS, GdsFactory, or similar.
- Support internal PDK development and maintenance.
- Automate and script simulations with Python or similar languages.
- Collaborate with team members using Git for code management.
- Integrate photonic designs into system architectures.
Requirements

MSc in Photonics, Electrical Engineering, or related; PhD preferred. *
- 3+ years of photonics design experience, preferably in industry.
- Experince in Lumerical and PIC layout tools (eg. IPKISS, GdsFactory).
- Strong Python skills and experience with Git.
- Proficiency in English., * Experience with Lumerical API, PDK development, Silicon Nitride platforms, and quantum integrated photonics., * Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communicator and team player.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to high quality.
- Self-motivated, capable of managing multiple projects independently.
