reliability - Translate business and functional requirements into technical solutions while safeguarding technical quality - Improve the performance, security, and maintainability of existing applications - Collaborate with product, QA, and other developers to deliver solutions on time and with care - Review colleagues’ code and coach team members on best practices - Identify technical risks and actively contribute to architecture decisions ## Requirements - At least 5 years of experience as a Java Developer or in a similar backend role - Strong knowledge of Java and common backend principles - Experience with REST APIs, data modelling, and relational databases - Familiarity with software testing, code reviews, and CI/CD practices - Good command of the Dutch language, both spoken and written - HBO- or WO-level thinking and working ability, preferably in computer science or a similar field ## Nice to have - Experience with Spring Boot - Knowledge of cloud environments such as AWS, Azure, or GCP - Experience with microservices architectures - Knowledge of containerisation with Docker or Kubernetes - Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment
