Middleware Platform Manager

We ARE Infotech is currently looking for a Middleware Platform Manager / Operations Engineer to join one of our clients in the energy industry. You will be part of the Platform Services Team, which falls within the company’s Information Technology & Facility Management (ITF) department.

This is what you will do and LEARN with us:

• Managing and improving various middleware platforms (mail, messaging and communication platforms, Tibco Business Works / Business Connect / Hawk); Automation (with Ansible) will play an important role in this.

• Supporting projects and teams to connect and test new solutions on a middleware platform;
• Solving 2nd and 3rd line software failures and problems;
• Rolling out new environments using various automation tools;
• Take full responsibility for these platforms;
• Application Lifecycle Management.

• A completed HBO/WO education or sufficient experience to be able to work at this level;
• Knowledge of and experience with Tibco (Business Connect, Business Works, Hawk, EMS);
• You are willing to participate in a 24x7 breakdown service;
• You have a good command of the Dutch and English language in word and writing;
• You are customer-oriented and you are driven to think end-to-end (from business to IT);
• Knowledge of mail, messaging and communication platforms, Elastic Stack, Ansible and Linux;
• You are innovative and proactive and interested in new technologies such as automated provisioning and deployment;
• You are a technician with analytical skills and good communication skills;
• You are a team player and dare to take responsibility and have persuasiveness.
