Job description

Note: this position FTC (Fixed Term Contract- 1 year Duration)

Experience Required

10-15 years total experience, with 5+ years as Solution Architect
Proven experience in large Banking/Financial services transformation programs
Strong exposure to multiple domains: Payments, KYC, Billing, Treasury, Operations
Experience working in onshore leadership roles with offshore delivery teams

Technical & Domain Skills

Strong experience in event-driven architecture (Kafka, event bus, streaming platforms)
Expertise in Microservices, APIs, cloud-native architecture (Azure/AWS)
Understanding of payment ecosystems (SEPA, SWIFT, Faster Payments, ISO 20022)
Familiarity with CRM (Dynamics), billing, transaction monitoring, and reporting systems
Knowledge of TOGAF or similar architecture frameworks

Key Responsibilities

Own end-to-end solution architecture and HLD across all workstreams
Define and govern event-driven architecture patterns (Kafka/event streaming, async processing)
Manage cross-domain dependencies and ensure integration consistency
Provide architecture governance, design approvals, and stakeholder engagement
Partner with Integration Architect, Data Architect, and offshore Solution Architects
Ensure solutions meet NFRs - scalability, resilience, security, regulatory compliance
Lead design workshops, vendor reviews, and architecture boards
Maintain architecture roadmap and technical debt management
