Health System Specialist

• Implement medical standards programs to ensure compliance with guidelines and alignment with organizational objectives.
• Maintain mission readiness by reviewing Duty Limiting Conditions (DLCs), physical examinations, profiles, and medical clearances.
• Analyze policies for active duty and eligible civilian personnel to determine qualifications for aviation, special duty, and worldwide assignments.
• Brief the MTF on policy, training, deployment processing, and operational duty requirements to installation leadership, functional organizations, and executive staff.
• Oversee program metrics to include deployment-related health assessments (DRHA), ensure quality of medical documentation, and tracking metrics, recommending improvements to enhance efficiency, compliance, and force health protection.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes maintaining medical records, utilizing various electronic databases to analyze data, and identifying issues for leadership review. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the second lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-07).
