Job description

Data isn’t a support function at Super - it sits at the heart of every major decision we make, with our data insights team operating at the intersection of product, commercial, and marketing strategy. We’re looking for a Data Science Manager to lead the analytical function that helps our commercial teams understand what’s working, why, and what to do next, owning the insights agenda end-to-end - from defining KPIs and building metrics frameworks, to running experiments that test strategic bets, to developing a team that brings rigour and curiosity to everything they do.

What the role involves

Analytics & Insight Delivery

  • Partner with commercial teams and analyse complex datasets to shape data-driven strategies and surface actionable insights
  • Build metrics frameworks and standardise reporting to define KPIs across markets

Experimentation & Advanced Analytics

  • Design and own the experimentation framework, including A/B testing and causal inference, to ground key decisions in rigorous evidence
  • Apply advanced analytical techniques to identify the most effective solution for each business problem

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Collaborate with Data Engineering, BI, and Data Products teams to enable self-service analytics and free analysts to focus on higher-impact work
  • Act as the bridge between business requirements and data capabilities to deliver practical, reliable solutions

Team Leadership & Development

  • Set clear objectives for the analytics and insights team and manage delivery against them
  • Prioritise workload and foster a culture of analytical rigour and curiosity

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, or a related quantitative field
  • 8+ years of experience in analytics or insights, with at least 2 years in a people management role
  • Strong SQL skills, with the ability to independently extract, manipulate, and analyse large datasets
  • Proven experience using data to influence commercial strategy and present findings to senior stakeholders
  • Hands-on experience designing and analysing A/B tests and applying causal or statistical methods
  • Experience developing KPI frameworks and standardising reporting across business areas or markets
  • Demonstrated ability to translate complex analytical findings into clear recommendations for non-technical audiences, * Master’s degree in a quantitative field
  • Familiarity with Tableau or similar BI tools
  • Experience in betting, gaming, or iGaming industry
  • Proficiency in Python or R for analytical work
  • Experience with Snowflake or modern data stack tools
  • Familiarity with AI/ML techniques and their practical business applications
