Vacancy: IT Support Technician (36-40 hours)
Amity International School Amsterdam is looking for a motivated and enthusiastic IT Support Technician, already living and eligible to work in The Netherlands, to join our team. This is a great opportunity for someone with a passion for IT who is eager to develop their skills in a dynamic international school environment.
THIS POSITION IS SUITABLE FOR A NEW GRADUATE!!
About the Role In this role, you will support the day-to-day IT operations of the school, assisting staff and students with technical issues and helping maintain our systems and devices. You will work with a variety of technologies and platforms, with strong opportunities to learn and grow.
We are looking for someone who is proactive, curious, and eager to take initiative while continuing to develop professionally.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide first-line IT support to staff and students
- Assist in managing and maintaining the Microsoft 365 environment (including Exchange)
- Support user account and device management (Entra ID / Intune)
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, and basic network issues
- Support and help maintain our Student Information System (iSAMS)
- Assist with device setup and deployment (Windows, iOS, macOS)
- Work with a variety of systems and tools used across the school
What We Are Looking For
- Self-driven and proactive mindset
- Eagerness to learn, develop, and adapt to new technologies
- Solid IT knowledge, including:
- Windows, iOS, and macOS
- Device management via Intune and/or JAMF (or willingness to learn)
- Microsoft 365 and Exchange basics
- Entra ID / administrative environments
- Experience with School Management Information Systems (MIS), including timetabling software and data import processes, is preferred.
- Experience with iSAMS (Student MIS) is a strong advantage
- Suitable for a newly graduated student

If not experienced, willingness to follow training and specialize in the platform is essential
- Ability to find your way in different systems or quickly adapt (examples may be discussed during the interview)
- Good communication skills in an international environment
- Fluency in English (verbal and written)
- Knowledge of, or willing to learn, Dutch is an advantage.
