Senior Full Stack Engineer - Frontend Architecture

Join a leading Fortune 500 organization in New York, NY as a Senior Full Stack Engineer with a focus on frontend architecture. This contract role offers an exciting opportunity to design and implement modern enterprise web applications that deliver scalable, secure, and accessible digital experiences. You’ll lead the development of cutting-edge single-page applications, establish frontend standards, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive innovation and modernization efforts. Ideal candidates are passionate about frontend engineering, have strong full-stack expertise, and enjoy mentoring and technical leadership., * Design and develop scalable, responsive single-page applications using modern JavaScript frameworks such as React or Angular

• Establish and enforce frontend architecture standards and create reusable component libraries
• Develop user-friendly web experiences optimized for desktop and mobile devices
• Integrate frontend components with enterprise REST APIs and backend services
• Collaborate with backend engineers to ensure secure, scalable application solutions
• Implement authentication, authorization, and session management capabilities
• Optimize application performance, accessibility, and usability in accordance with WCAG standards
• Participate in code reviews and technical design discussions to ensure high-quality deliverables
• Provide technical mentorship to development teams and promote best practices
• Support modernization initiatives and continuous improvement projects

• 8+ years of full-stack software development experience
• Expertise in React and/or Angular frameworks
• Strong proficiency in TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3
• Experience integrating RESTful APIs and working with CI/CD pipelines
• Knowledge of security Best Practices, including secure authentication solutions
• Strong understanding of accessibility standards (WCAG)
• Excellent communication skills and proven technical leadership abilities

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience developing mobile applications and Progressive Web Apps (PWAs)
• Familiarity with Docker and containerization concepts
• Knowledge of Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions
• Experience in regulated industries or utilities
