Senior Kotlin Backend Developer

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications using Kotlin, Spring Boot, and microservices architecture
• Analyze business requirements and design robust application and data architecture solutions for business-critical systems
• Develop clean, efficient, and high-quality code while following coding standards and best practices
• Build, deploy, and maintain reliable backend services supporting strategic delivery processes
• Participate actively in Agile Scrum ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, backlog refinement, reviews, and retrospectives
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions in an Agile DevOps environment
• Take ownership of application deployments, monitoring, and ongoing operational support, including participation in 24/7 standby rotations
• Perform code reviews, identify improvement opportunities, and contribute to continuous code quality enhancements
• Troubleshoot production issues, implement performance improvements, and ensure high system availability

• 10+ years of experience in backend software development with strong expertise in Kotlin
• Hands-on experience developing enterprise applications using Spring Boot and microservices architecture
• Strong understanding of RESTful APIs, backend application design, and distributed systems
• Experience with application architecture, data modeling, and scalable backend solution design
• Solid knowledge of DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, version control systems, and deployment automation
• Experience working within Agile Scrum environments and participating in iterative software delivery
• Strong understanding of software engineering best practices, clean code principles, testing, and code quality
• Experience supporting production systems and participating in operational support or on-call rotations
• Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
• Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively in collaborative, cross-functional teams
