Job description

Are you a highly skilled and proactive IT superstar ready to ensure our client’s team has the technology they need to thrive? We’re seeking a dedicated Level II Desktop Support Specialist to be the backbone of our daily IT operations, providing essential technical assistance and maintaining critical infrastructure. Your expertise will directly empower our employees, keeping them productive and connected, and contributing significantly to our operational efficiency.

This is an onsite role, Monday through Friday, 1st Shift 7:00am-3:00pm.

What You’ll Do:

  • Manage and resolve IT incidents and service requests efficiently using established incident management systems.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot a wide range of equipment and application issues.
  • Execute equipment deployments for new hires and system upgrades.
  • Perform asset updates and manage peripheral devices.
  • Coordinate the shipping of equipment for returns and receive incoming hardware.
  • Address various task requests within support queues, ensuring timely resolution.
  • Assist with imaging, quality assurance, and refreshing of IT equipment.
  • Provide comprehensive support for mobile devices.
  • Conduct equipment repairs and facilitate hardware replacements.
  • Receive, organize, and store new hardware from vendors.
  • Contribute to other essential daily IT support activities as needed.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in a Level II Desktop Support or similar IT support role.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage and resolve IT incidents and service requests.
  • Strong technical aptitude for diagnosing and resolving hardware and software issues across various platforms.
  • Hands-on experience with equipment deployment, imaging, and asset management processes.
  • Familiarity with receiving, storing, and shipping IT hardware.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on providing exceptional customer support.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

The target hiring compensation range for this role is $18.80 to $20.67 hr. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
