Key job responsibilities - Lead and develop high-performing technical teams, providing strategic guidance and fostering professional growth - Optimize data center operations through continuous process improvement and innovative solutions - Manage infrastructure projects, including maintenance of existing facilities and strategic expansion of new data centers - Cultivate strong relationships with internal teams and external vendors to ensure seamless operational performance - Drive operational excellence by implementing robust metrics, incident management, and capacity planning strategies Basic Qualifications - Experience in people management and team development - Experience managing complex and fast-moving issues - Experience partnering with business leaders in highly complex and dynamic business settings - Valid driver’s license with access to a personal vehicle for daily use - Speak, write, and read fluently in English, and have the ability to take direction in English Preferred Qualifications - Experience managing a technical team - Experience owning the operation of a mission-critical team or product Amazon is an equal opportunities employer.
