PC & Laptop Repair Technician

uBreakiFix is seeking an experienced PC & Laptop Repair Technician to join our team in San Jose. We are looking for a technician who can independently diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair computers while delivering exceptional customer service.

This position is ideal for someone who enjoys solving technical problems, working with a variety of devices, and building a long-term career in the technology repair industry.

What You’ll Do

• Diagnose and repair desktop computers and laptops
• Troubleshoot hardware and software issues
• Perform screen, battery, keyboard, fan, SSD, RAM, charging port, and motherboard-related repairs
• Install and configure Windows operating systems
• Perform virus removals, PC tune-ups, and system optimizations
• Complete data transfers, backups, and recovery services
• Build and upgrade custom desktop PCs
• Communicate repair recommendations and technical findings to customers
• Maintain accurate work orders and repair documentation
• Manage parts inventory and organization
• Deliver professional customer service throughout the repair process

Do you have experience in Software installation?, We are looking for technicians who have experience diagnosing and repairing computers rather than simply replacing parts., * Can independently troubleshoot hardware and software issues

• Has experience repairing laptops and desktop computers
• Is comfortable working with Windows operating systems
• Understands data transfers, backups, and system recovery
• Enjoys solving complex technical problems
• Takes pride in quality workmanship and customer satisfaction, * Minimum 1 year of computer or laptop repair experience
• Experience with Windows installation and troubleshooting
• Experience replacing laptop components including screens, keyboards, batteries, SSDs, RAM, and fans
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Reliable transportation and dependable attendance

Preferred Qualifications

• Apple MacBook repair experience
• Custom PC building experience
• Data recovery experience
• Motherboard diagnostics experience
• Retail electronics repair experience
• Experience working in a repair shop or IT environment
