Job description

We are looking for a skilled and reliable Laptop Repair Technician to join our computer refurbishment operation. This position involves diagnosing, repairing, upgrading, and preparing laptops, Chromebooks, desktops, and other computer equipment for resale., * Diagnose and repair laptops, Chromebooks, desktops, and related computer equipment

  • Replace parts such as screens, keyboards, palmrests, batteries, hinges, fans, speakers, webcams, Wi-Fi cards, RAM, SSDs, and chargers
  • Perform motherboard-level troubleshooting and repairs when needed
  • Perform basic to advanced soldering repairs
  • Repair or replace damaged plastics, hinges, bezels, covers, and other cosmetic components
  • Test systems after repair to confirm full functionality
  • Upgrade laptops with RAM, SSDs, batteries, and other components
  • Identify missing, defective, or damaged parts
  • Work with audit, inventory, cleaning, and shipping teams to keep production moving
  • Follow company repair standards and quality control procedures
  • Maintain accurate notes on repairs performed
  • Keep work area clean, organized, and safe
  • Help meet daily production goals and KPIs

Requirements

Do you have experience in Machine repair?, The ideal candidate has hands-on repair experience, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced production environment. Soldering skills, motherboard repair, and plastic/cosmetic repair experience are highly preferred., * Laptop, desktop, Chromebook, or electronics repair experience

  • Ability to diagnose hardware issues quickly and accurately
  • Comfortable opening, repairing, and reassembling laptops
  • Experience replacing screens, keyboards, batteries, hinges, plastics, RAM, and SSDs
  • Soldering skills strongly preferred
  • Motherboard repair experience preferred
  • Plastic repair / cosmetic repair experience preferred
  • Good attention to detail
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment
  • Reliable, punctual, and self-motivated
  • Able to follow instructions and work as part of a team
  • Basic computer knowledge required

Preferred Skills

  • Board-level repair experience
  • DC jack repair
  • USB port repair
  • BIOS/CMOS troubleshooting
  • Hinge and plastic casing repair
  • LCD/screen replacement
  • Keyboard and palmrest replacement
  • Windows installation or imaging experience
  • Experience with refurbished electronics or e-commerce operations
