The engineering-support scope encompasses Technical Data Package (TDP) and reliability activities such as, but not limited to, the following:

  • Provide support for engineering execution by performing technical analysis of vendor Technical Data Package (TDP) drawings, schematics, and models, verifying conformance with applicable military standards (such as MIL-STD-31000B) and contract requirements.
  • Support and coordinate the development, configuration control, and marking of technical documentation such as, but not limited to, the SoS TDP and associated data bridged from PMA-268 and PMA-228 into the Logistics Product Database.
  • Analyze contractor TDP deliverables, as permitted by law and regulation, logging and tracking technical deficiencies to closure and supporting resolution throughout the design-review cycle.
  • Support program management, the Assistant Program Manager for Logistics (APML), and Level 1 IPT leads in program execution and in processes for future program activities, monitoring the vendor Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) for TDP milestone status.
  • Provide risk management for TDP and product-support/reliability activities in accordance with the DoD Risk Management Guide for Defense Acquisition Programs: identify, document, and track TDP milestone, product-support, and reliability risks in the program risk database; and develop and report risk metrics for program leadership decision points and design reviews.
