Senior DevOps Engineer - 6 Months - Remote - Inside IR35

We are looking for an experienced Senior DevOps Engineer to join a large-scale public sector digital programme. This role offers the opportunity to work on modern cloud-based platforms, driving automation, improving software delivery practices, and supporting the operation of critical production services.

You’ll be responsible for designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines, automating infrastructure, improving developer workflows, and ensuring highly available, secure cloud environments., * Design, build and operate CI/CD pipelines and delivery automation solutions.

• Manage and support production services hosted in cloud environments, primarily AWS.
• Implement and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and configuration-as-code solutions.
• Develop automation scripts and tooling to improve operational efficiency and developer experience.
• Collaborate with engineers and stakeholders to enhance platform reliability, scalability and security.
• Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues using a structured, evidence-led approach.
• Drive continuous improvement across deployment, monitoring and operational processes.

• Strong hands-on experience designing, building and supporting CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience working with Git-based development and delivery practices.
• Proven experience operating production environments on a major cloud platform:Experience with Infrastructure as Code and automated environment management.
