Senior Devops Engineer

A high-growth technology consultancy is expanding its new Defence Consulting practice and is looking for senior and principal-level engineers to help define the technical direction of its engineering capability.

The Role

You’ll provide technical leadership across engineering teams while remaining hands-on, helping shape architecture, engineering standards and long-term technology strategy., * Leading the design of secure cloud and data platforms

• Defining engineering standards and best practice
• Providing technical leadership across delivery teams
• Mentoring and developing engineers
• Working closely with senior stakeholders on technical strategy
• Driving innovation across cloud, DevOps and data engineering
• Supporting large-scale transformation and greenfield programmes
• Helping grow and shape the Defence engineering practice

• Extensive experience in Data Engineering, DevOps or Platform Engineering
• Strong cloud architecture expertise across AWS, Azure or GCP
• Experience designing enterprise-scale platforms
• Strong stakeholder engagement and leadership skills
• Experience mentoring engineers and leading technical delivery
• Passion for solving highly complex technical challenges
• Entrepreneurial mindset and desire to build a new capability
