Design and Analysis Engineer 2

Develops and documents moderately complex electronic and electrical system requirements. Designs hardware specifications for electronic and electrical systems. Designs software specifications for electronic and electrical systems. Designs interface specifications for system integration. Tests and validates system designs to ensure operational and functional requirements are met. Assists in monitoring supplier performance to ensure system integration and compliance with requirements. Solves problems concerning fielded hardware and software over the entire product lifecycle. Researches specific technology advances for potential application to company business needs. Applies familiarity with 1553 data bus and 429 data bus for system integration. Performs hardware auditing and audit processes for quality and compliance.

Must be a U.S. Person (as defined by ITAR). Bachelor’s degree and typically 2 or more years’ experience in an engineering classification or a Master’s degree with experience in an engineering classification. Required: Bachelor or Master degree from an accredited course of study, in engineering, com Familiarity with configuration management processes. Experience with Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) testing. Familiarity with 1553 data bus standards. Familiarity with 429 data bus standards. Experience with hardware auditing or audit processes. Experience developing and documenting electronic and electrical system requirements. Experience designing hardware, software, and interface specifications. Experience testing and validating system designs. Ability to obtain a Secret security clearance if required in the future., Must be a U.S. Person (U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident, or protected individual under 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3)) to comply with ITAR regulations.
