Job description
The IT Site Support Specialist is responsible for providing hands-on technical support for end users, maintaining IT assets, and ensuring reliable operation of hardware, software, and local technology services. This role requires strong troubleshooting skills, excellent customer service, and the ability to support a variety of devices and technologies within a manufacturing environment., + Diagnose and resolve hardware issues involving desktop and laptop computers, monitors, keyboards, mice, RF scanners/guns, printers, and other peripheral devices.

Provide technical support for mobile devices, including smartphones and iPads running iOS/iPadOS.

Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot hardware and software solutions for end users.

Respond to and resolve technical support requests in a timely and professional manner.

Support Windows 10 and Windows 11 environments, including user setup, device configuration, and basic operating system troubleshooting.

Perform basic network troubleshooting to identify connectivity issues and assist with initial diagnosis before escalating to specialized infrastructure teams when necessary.

Maintain accurate IT asset inventories, including procurement, deployment, configuration, repair, replacement, and lifecycle management of equipment.

Support local IT projects, technology rollouts, system upgrades, and process improvement initiatives.

Assist with license management, security systems, telecommunications, and phone system support.

Follow established IT support processes, change management procedures, and service standards.

Build positive relationships with end users by providing patient, respectful, and customer-focused support.
Requirements

Experience providing desktop and technical support in a corporate or manufacturing environment.

Strong troubleshooting skills with PC hardware, peripherals, and mobile devices.

Experience installing, configuring, and supporting hardware and software applications.

Working knowledge of Windows 10 and Windows 11.

Basic understanding of network connectivity concepts and network troubleshooting.

Ability to prioritize multiple support requests and work independently to resolve issues.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications

Experience supporting RF scanners, mobile devices, and warehouse/manufacturing technologies.

Familiarity with IT asset managemen
