Data Operations Assistant

We are looking for a Data Operations Assistant to support the research and evidence-based advisory work we provide to our clients. Our firm is currently working with a major logistics provider to assess new partnership opportunities and analyze market logic within specific territories. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the data that feeds into these decisions is accurate, well-organized, and reflects the ground reality of the environment. This is a full-time, fully remote position designed for someone who is organized and detail-oriented. What you will do

• Collect and organize commercial data from diverse sources to support our analysis for the logistics sector.
• Clean and validate datasets to ensure high levels of accuracy before they are used in client positions or senior briefings.
• Assist senior partners by manually entering and verifying proprietary records and counterparty information.
• Monitor internal data quality and flag any inconsistencies that might impact our commercial judgment.
• Prepare basic summaries and structured data tables that help senior advisors visualize market trends.
• Conduct targeted research for public records, industry filings, and competitor data according to specific project needs.
• Maintain our internal documentation of active engagements to ensure all evidence is searchable and current.
• Coordinate with the broader team to ensure data flows are efficient and support the firm’s focus on actionable advice.

• A disciplined approach to data management and a high level of accuracy when working with complex spreadsheets.
• Basic proficiency in research methods and curiosity about how large-scale commercial deals are structured.
• Clear writing skills and the ability to explain how data was sourced or verified without using jargon.
