Senior Python Software Engineer (Cloud/Platform) - £400 p/d Inside IR35 - Remote

You’ll be responsible for developing secure, cloud-native Python applications while helping improve platform capabilities, CI/CD pipelines, Infrastructure as Code and developer experience across a large-scale AWS environment.

Essential Skills

• Strong commercial Python development experience
• AWS cloud development experience
• Terraform (or other Infrastructure as Code tools)
• CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions or similar)
• Secure Software Development Lifecycle (SSDLC)
• Observability and monitoring tooling
• Experience supporting production systems and incident investigation

Desirable

• Platform Engineering or DevOps experience
• Shift-left security practices
• Building reusable IaC modules and CI/CD components
• Experience promoting engineering best practices across teams

Requirements

• Active transferable SC Security Clearance
• Willingness to join an on-call rota once fully onboarded
