Job description

The Supply Register is proud to be working in partnership with Kidderminster College to recruit an enthusiastic and committed IT Digital Lecturer to join their growing team. This is an excellent opportunity to inspire and develop the next generation of digital professionals by delivering high-quality teaching and supporting learners to achieve their full potential. About the Role

  • As an IT Digital Lecturer at Kidderminster College, you will:
  • Deliver engaging and innovative lessons across IT and Digital programmes, including T Level provision,
  • Plan and prepare learning activities that meet awarding body and curriculum requirements,
  • Support learners in developing technical knowledge, digital skills, and workplace readiness,
  • Assess learner progress and provide timely, constructive feedback,
  • Create a positive, inclusive, and supportive learning environment,
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues and employer partners to enhance the learner experience.

Requirements

  • Experience within the IT and Digital sector,
  • Knowledge of areas such as networking, cybersecurity, software development, data, or digital technologies,
  • Strong communication and organisational skills,
  • A passion for supporting and developing learners,
  • A teaching qualification (or willingness to work towards one) is desirable,
  • A valid or update-service DBS (or willingness to obtain one)., The Supply Register and Kidderminster College are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, young people, and vulnerable adults. An enhanced DBS check and satisfactory references are required for this role.
