1st Line IT Support Technician Location: Malton, North Yorkshire Salary: £15-16 per hour (Depnding on experience) Job Type: Temporary Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00am - 5:00pm Working Pattern: Fully office-based, On -site Are you looking for an opportunity to develop your IT career within an internal IT team where you’ll gain hands-on experience and genuine responsibility from day one? We’re recruiting for a 1st Line IT Support Technician to join an established organisation based in Malton. Initially offered on a temporary basis, to begin with. Working closely with an experienced IT professional, you’ll become the first point of contact for users across the business, providing day-to-day technical support whilst developing your skills across Microsoft technologies and business systems. If you’re customer-focused, enjoy solving problems and are looking for a role where you can continue learning, we’d like to hear from you. What you’ll be doing Providing 1st Line IT Support to users across the business. Logging, managing and resolving support requests through the IT ticketing system. Supporting Microsoft 365 applications and user accounts. Assisting with hardware and software troubleshooting. Setting up new users, devices and user permissions. Escalating more complex technical issues where appropriate. Delivering excellent customer service to colleagues across the organisation. Supporting general day-to-day IT administration and projects as required.What we’re looking for We’re interested in speaking with candidates who have: Previous experience within a 1st Line IT Support, IT Service Desk or Helpdesk position. Experience supporting Microsoft 365 environments.
