Job Description SummaryJoin the innovative Grid Automation Technology team!We are seeking an experienced embedded Architect to join our dynamic team in creating the building blocks to enable digital transformation in the power grid, focused on signal digitization, protection & control infrastructure devices.No espere a enviar su solicitud después de leer esta descripción; se espera un gran volumen de candidaturas para esta oportunidad.Essential ResponsibilitiesAnalyze complex challenging requirements to architect effective design solutions making up the overall system architecture including hardware, embedded software, software tools, V&V and test rigs.Provide forward?looking strategies for platforms and technology development, technical risks elimination and insertion, to make the platform reliable and the product competitive.Drive platform reuse strategies.Make data?driven decisions using defined trade?off criteria.Facilitate, drive discussions and steer cross?functional councils to solve issues, drive decisions, gain consensus, and align on technical risk mitigation strategies.Communicate complex messages and negotiate with others to adopt a different point of view.Influence peers to act and negotiate with external partners and vendors.Utilize in?depth understanding of key technology challenges to accomplish own work and provide direction to cross?functional teams.Apply technical skills and analytic thinking required to solve problems, using multiple internal sources and some external sources to arrive at decisions.Define architecture enablers and collaborate with ART Product Owners and Product Managers on backlog definition and prioritization.Provide timely communications on significant issues, risks and/or developments.Maintain a focus on safety, reliability, performance, and security for embedded systems.Capture and elicit detailed requirements from stakeholders to ensure comprehensive understanding and documentation.Handle change management and impact analysis.Assess the effects of modifications on system architecture.Act as a resource for colleagues with less experience.Explain difficult information and work to build consensus.Use persuasion skills to influence others on topics within field.Qualifications / RequirementsBachelor’s Degree in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics) from an accredited college or university.Proven experience in embedded systems architecture and virtualized IED architectures.Strong object?oriented analysis and design (OOAD) skills with proficiency in C/C++17.Experience with Microservices, Container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes), Virtualization (Hypervisor types, VM management, network configuration).Experience with Embedded Linux and RTOS.Experience with microservices software architectures.Understanding of the Transmission & Distribution power?system domain and protection relays.Extensive experience of modular, medium?scale embedded systems based around Xilinx Ultrascale+ designs.Strong oral and written communication skills.Desired CharacteristicsExperience working on teams that use the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) development methodology.Experience implementing and using CI/CD pipelines.Experience with Field?Programmable Gate Array (FPGA) Knowledge on IEC **, IEEE **** and/or SCADA, networking protocols (IEC **).Understand and apply system test and integration methodologies.Strong interpersonal and leadership skills.xqbhyrx Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems.Additional InformationRelocation Assistance Provided: No#J-***-Ljbffr
