TECHNICAL LEAD L1

Designing and developing features, ensuring solutions meet enterprise standards for coding and quality, and making sure the product acceptance criteria are met with minimal technical debt. The selected candidate will work closely with the Product Owner to maintain a healthy product backlog and clear requirements, collaborate with stakeholders to design scalable, fault-tolerant, performant, and secure solutions, and lead low-level technical design efforts. They will conduct code reviews, ensure deployment readiness by focusing on production preparation and performance optimization, and address database tasks for smooth delivery. Managing defects and collaborating with developers, testers, and business analysts to ensure successful release delivery is also part of the role. Additionally, the candidate will guide team members in planning, estimation, peer reviews, and other engineering practices.

J2EE, IBM iLog/ODM, and Spring Boot.

Candidates should have at least 7+ years of relevant IT software experience, deep understanding of multi-tier architectures, and hands-on knowledge of Java/J2EE, JavaScript/CSS, and JUnit.

Experience with WAS, Tomcat application servers, cloud environments, Kubernetes containers, microservices development using Spring Boot, and containerization using Docker or Padman is essential.

Knowledge of Kubernetes (K8s) is a plus. Database skills in Oracle, SQL, and ETL, as well as familiarity with Linux and Windows operating systems, are required.

Prior experience with core java middleware processes and IBM ODM rule development is also important.

The ideal candidate is a quick learner and self-starter who excels with minimal supervision and possesses strong written and verbal communication skills.

Desired qualifications include knowledge of Autosys, WebSphere application server, Tomcat, agile-driven development, AG Grid, and DevOps tools like Github and BitBucket. The candidate should be able to work independently, share technical expertise with team members, interact efficiently with internal contacts and teams to drive solutions, proactively communicate concerns, and have experience with continuous development in CI/CD. The expected compensation for this role ranges from $60,000 to $135,000 .

Final compensation will depend on various factors, including your geographical location, minimum wage obligations, skills, and relevant experience.
