Job description
- Manage on-site operational physical security of NTE data centers, including access control systems, guard force management, CCTV monitoring, and media security.
- Conduct investigations, risk/threat assessments, and incident reporting, and provide detailed reports and analysis.
- Report security metrics, prepare concise and accurate security reports, and create/manage key performance metrics.
- Ensure compliance with international standards such as SOC 1, SOC 2, and ISO 27001, and implement new processes and policies related to security guarding, media security, and customer data protection.
- Supervise employees and contractors performing security duties and monitor vendor performance, including managing third-party security vendor contracts.
- Train others in security procedures and coordinate with internal and external partners to enhance safety and security.
- Collaborate with peers in other geographic regions and travel as required (typically 25-40% of the role).
Requirements
Amazon Web Services (AWS) is looking to hire a highly motivated, best-in-class Non-Traditional Environment (NTE) Security Manager. The role will manage the physical security of our EMEA NTE environments based in Madrid, Spain, covering multiple sites across the region., * Citizen of an EU member state.
- 5-7 years of security operations experience with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
- Familiarity with compliance standards such as ISO 27001.
- Working knowledge of video surveillance equipment.
- Experience training others in security procedures.
- Valid driver’s licence., * Certified Protection Officer (CPO) or similar credential.
- Experience working in a high-security environment.
- Ability to perform security risk assessments (CPR, CPP, PSP, PMP certifications preferred).
