Remote Senior Okta Engineer

Do you have experience in Workflow management (operations management method)?, 1. Deep Okta Workforce IAM Engineering (Beyond Administration)

• Okta Identity Engine (OIE) implementations
• Hands-on SAML and OIDC/OAuth2 integrations
• Multi-tenant identity patterns (clear separation of Workforce IAM vs CIAM)
• MFA inheritance and policy conflicts

1. Okta CIAM & API Driven Integration The candidate must have designed and operated CIAM environments, not just configured them. Required experience includes:

• CIAM tenant and architecture design
• External user lifecycle modeling
• API driven provisioning, updates, and deprovisioning
• Understanding the security and audit implications of CIAM decisions

1. Okta Workflows - Production Grade Candidates must demonstrate:

• Complex branching and conditional logic
• Robust error handling and rollback strategies
• Integration with external systems and APIs
• Use of workflows as an operational queue, supporting production identity operations (aligned with formal SOW practices)
