Job description
The Business Analyst / Developer supports and enhances critical systems within a manufacturing environment. This role bridges business needs and technical execution, working closely with cross-functional teams to deliver solutions across both legacy and modern platforms. The Business Analyst / Developer is collaborative, organized, and capable of translating business requirements into actionable deliverables for development teams and supporting manufacturing operations., * Partner with manufacturing, operations, and business teams to gather, analyze, and document system requirements
- Translate business needs into clear functional and technical specifications, and hand off to development teams
- Collaborate with developers, QA, and stakeholders to ensure accurate implementation of requirements
- Analyze production workflows and identify opportunities for process improvement and automation
- Design, develop, test, and maintain applications across legacy and modern platforms
- Support and enhance existing systems, including RPG/CL and legacy Java applications
- Develop and maintain web-based applications using Spring Boot, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
- Develop and optimize SQL queries, reports, and data integrations
- Assist with system integrations between shop floor systems, ERP platforms, and external applications
- Troubleshoot system issues and support production operations with a team-oriented approach
- Maintain documentation for systems, processes, and enhancements
Requirements
Do you have experience in Time management?, * Proficiency in legacy Java and modern Spring Boot Java frameworks
- Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
- Experience gathering and documenting business and system requirements
- Familiarity with ERP/MRP systems in a manufacturing environment
- Understanding of system integrations and data flows
- Experience working within a team-based development environment
- Ability to analyze complex business processes and recommend improvements

Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with RPG/CL, preferably in an IBM i (AS/400) environment

- Experience with manufacturing systems (MES, inventory, production scheduling)
- Knowledge of APIs, EDI, or integration tools
