Job description
- We act as the primary voice of our company, answering incoming phone calls from UK installers and on-site customers to provide immediate technical assistance.
- We guide installers through basic operations, system settings, and standard troubleshooting procedures for our inverters and battery systems.
- We use Zendesk to accurately log, track, and close incoming support cases, ensuring every customer query is handled professionally.
- We identify complex technical issues, document the details clearly, and promptly escalate them to our Senior Engineers or R&D team for further investigation.
- We work entirely from our office as a friendly and essential first point of contact for installers out in the field.
- We provide efficient remote support and guide users through basic troubleshooting for our solar inverters and energy storage systems.

- Zendesk
Requirements
- We have previous experience in a call center, technical support helpline, or a similar customer-facing role.
- A background as an electrician apprentice or practical PV/battery installation experience is a strong bonus.
- We have high patience and a strongly customer-oriented mindset, with the ability to manage the emotional stress of installers facing urgent on-site issues.
- We have excellent verbal and written English and can explain technical steps clearly and confidently over the phone.
- We are familiar with standard office tools, and experience with ticketing systems such as Zendesk is highly preferred.
- We have a genuine willingness to learn technical concepts in the renewable energy sector.
- No specific degree is required; our communication skills, empathy, and eagerness to learn matter most.
