Job description

Resilience Data Centers Communication Tooling Design Vertical Market SAP Applications Renewable Energy Telecommunications Quality Improvement Root Cause Analysis Capital Expenditure Product Engineering Mechanical Engineering New Product Development Manufacturing Processes Training And Development Manufacturing Operations Ethical Standards And Conduct, To support the manufacturing operations, including determining the most cost-effective method of manufacturing components with existing equipment/facilities as well as proposing new methods/equipment.

A Day In The Life

  • Ensure safe operation of all equipment and processes.
  • Trouble-shoot and resolve manufacturing process issues.
  • Prepare justification documentation for capital expenditures.
  • Lead / Assist in tool design and manufacturing process development.
  • Develop and implement cost saving projects. Participate in Lean events that drive productivity and cost improvement.
  • Lead quality improvement activities including root cause analysis and implementation of corrective actions.
  • Work closely with product engineering in product changes/new product introductions.
  • Investigate and implement safety and ergonomic changes in the manufacturing setting.
  • Provide technical support/training to direct labor employees.
  • Supporting plant-wide Safety initiatives.
  • Additional duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Ability to travel on business related trips as needed.
  • Good communication skills, both written and oral.
  • Computing literacy with MS Office applications. SAP experience is a plus.
  • CAD - Inventor preferred.
  • Experience in tool design, tool build and modeling., * Bachelor’s degree in engineering, preferably Mechanical Engineering preferred.
  • Three to five years of experience in a manufacturing environment minimum.
