Job description
The SharePoint Support Specialist provides comprehensive support for designing, developing, testing, documenting, and maintaining the SharePoint environment. This role focuses on SharePoint Online architecture, workflows, document libraries, collaboration sites, and integration with Microsoft 365 applications. The specialist partners with staff to ensure SharePoint solutions effectively support business processes, enhance collaboration, and improve operational efficiency., SharePoint Administration and Maintenance
- Maintain and update SharePoint Online tools, applications, and site collections.
- Ensure compliance with governance, security, and data management policies.
- Monitor system performance and resolve issues to ensure reliability and accessibility.
Workflow Development and Automation
- Develop, configure and maintain workflows using Power Automate and Power Apps.
- Support and troubleshoot legacy workflows created in SharePoint Designer.
- Debug and resolve issues with existing workflows, scripts, and custom tools.
Collaboration and Integration
- Partner with stakeholders to design and implement SharePoint solutions that support business processes and operational needs.
- Integrate SharePoint with Microsoft 365 services, including Teams, OneDrive, and Outlook.
- Enhance collaboration and document management capabilities across the organization.
Documentation and User Support
- Document processes, system configurations, and procedures for SharePoint environments.
- Develop user guides, training materials, and support documentation.
- Provide user support and guidance to promote adoption and effective use of SharePoint tools.
- Recommend and implement enhancements to improve usability, efficiency, and system performance.
- Support ongoing improvements aligned with organizational and operational objectives.
Requirements
Education: Bachelor’s degree in information technology, computer science, or related field. Experience: Demonstrated experience supporting SharePoint Online and Microsoft 365 environments., * Strong knowledge of SharePoint Online architecture, site collections, document libraries, and permissions management.
- Proficiency with Power Automate, Power Apps, and Microsoft 365 tools (Teams, OneDrive, Outlook).
- Familiarity with workflow automation, scripting, and troubleshooting techniques.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including documentation and user training.
