Job description

We’re looking for a hands-on Lead Web Developer (Technical Lead) who operates above a Senior Developer level-someone who drives technical direction, owns architecture decisions, and leads complex development efforts.

This is not a traditional people management role. Instead, it’s ideal for someone who leads through technical expertise, strong decision-making, and hands-on contribution. You’ll play a critical role in shaping our eCommerce platform, guiding development standards, and building scalable, high-performing systems.

What You’ll Do

  • Act as the technical lead and subject matter expert for web development initiatives
  • Lead by example through hands-on coding and architecture design
  • Provide technical guidance and code reviews to elevate team quality (no direct reports required)
  • Partner with stakeholders to translate business needs into scalable, user-friendly solutions
  • Drive projects that improve reliability, scalability, security, and performance of our eCommerce platform
  • Own and contribute to the full software development lifecycle (SDLC)
  • Design and implement cloud-based, microservices architecture across web, ERP, and third-party systems
  • Establish and promote best practices, coding standards, and modern design patterns
  • Identify system inefficiencies and implement solutions to improve performance and maintainability
  • Maintain and enhance existing applications and infrastructure
  • Ensure quality through unit testing, integration testing, and CI/CD practices
  • Evaluate and recommend new technologies to support business growth

Requirements

  • Proven experience operating at a senior+ or technical lead level, driving architecture and technical direction
  • Strong ability to influence technical decisions and collaborate cross-functionally
  • Passion for mentoring through technical guidance (not people management)
  • Hands-on expertise with modern web development and cloud-based systems
  • Strong problem-solving mindset with a focus on scalable, maintainable solutions

Technical Skills

  • C# (.NET 6/7), ASP.NET MVC 5
  • AWS (S3, Lambda, AppSync, SQS, SNS, EC2, ECS, API Gateway, CloudWatch)
  • HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, AJAX, Bootstrap
  • ReactJS, Redux
  • MySQL, Aurora, SQL Server
  • REST APIs, SOAP, GraphQL
  • OOP/OOD, service-oriented architecture, and design patterns
  • Cloud architecture and security best practices, * Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience
  • 7+ years developing scalable applications in .NET
  • 5+ years working with enterprise-level or eCommerce platforms
  • 5+ years with SQL databases (complex queries, stored procedures, indexing)
  • Strong experience with microservices, REST APIs, and serverless architecture
  • Proven experience with Agile, CI/CD, and DevOps practices
  • AWS experience required; Salesforce integration is a plus

Benefits & conditions

  • Salary range: $120,000-$140,000, based on experience and qualifications
  • Displays2Go takes a market-based approach to pay. Final compensation is determined based on responsibilities, skills, experience, and market conditions.
  • Generous paid time off, including vacation, holidays, and unlimited sick time
  • Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage
  • 401(k) with company match
  • A collaborative, down-to-earth culture where your ideas and impact are visible

Why Join Us?
