Job description

Configure and deploy client environments across CRIMS / OMS platforms
Execute end-to-end upgrades, including application deployment, batch configuration, and system integrations
Troubleshoot and resolve issues across batch processes, interfaces, configurations, and system performance
Perform log analysis and root cause investigation for technical issues and defects
Support system testing, validation, and go-live activities to ensure production readiness
Assess client infrastructure and environments for upgrade compatibility and readiness
Collaborate with project managers and stakeholders to define technical requirements, dependencies, and delivery plans
Develop and execute upgrade plans, including timelines, resource requirements, and risk mitigation
Lead technical implementation activities, including installation, configuration, and environment validation
Coordinate with development and QA teams to ensure a smooth transition and issue resolution during upgrades
Implement deployment approaches that minimize downtime and disruption to client operations
Ensure adherence to quality standards, best practices, and operational procedures throughout delivery
Act as the primary technical contact during upgrades, managing issues and communications with stakeholders
Escalate complex technical issues or system-level failures to appropriate engineering teams

Requirements

Strong troubleshooting, diagnostic, and root cause analysis skills
Hands-on experience with MS SQL Server and/or Sybase
Solid understanding of batch processing, job scheduling, and system integrations
Familiarity with infrastructure components (servers, operating systems, monitoring tools)
Experience within financial services, investment management, or trading systems (CRIMS preferred)
Exposure to networking, scripting, XML, programming languages, scheduling tools, monitoring platforms, and disaster recovery/business continuity practices
Strong problem-solving mindset with a high degree of ownership and accountability
Proven ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality client outcomes
Ability to work independently within the defined delivery scope
