Healthcare IT System Specialist

• Provide daily support for application systems with a focus on Meditech Expanse, including troubleshooting and user assistance.
• Coordinate and manage system updates, patches, and upgrades for all relevant application systems, ensuring minimal disruption to hospital operations.
• Assist users by troubleshooting/resolving requests received through the service desk, such as user provisioning and enhancement requests for application systems.
• Participate in the application call queue, serving as the primary point of contact for application system support.

• Bachelor’s degree in either Nursing, Health Sciences, Information Systems, Information Technology, Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or equivalent combination of education, experience, and training.
• Experience with Acute and/or Ambulatory Meditech Expanse Electronic Health Records systems.
• Strong understanding of clinical workflows and healthcare IT systems.
• Proficiency in training and supporting EMR system users - including physicians., * Bachelor’s (Required)

Experience:

• Healthcare IT systems: 3 years (Required)
• Acute OR Ambulatory Meditech Electronic Health Record: 2 years (Required)
