Job description

In the role of Manager, Enterprise Strategy, you will help develop Delta’s long-term strategic roadmap, identify transformational cross-divisional opportunities, and drive to value creation/capture. This position will also have responsibility for supporting Delta executives, Board level priorities and help oversee partnerships to meet our long-term objectives., * Work collaboratively across enterprise teams to identify, defineand plan for the most essential strategic opportunities andchallenges

  • Prepare, analyze, and use data to make actionablerecommendations and drive progress against cross enterpriseprograms
  • Analyze industry trends and competitive benchmarking to affirmor alter strategies as necessary
  • Distill key strategic themes, ideas, and opportunities intotangible and executable plans, initiatives, and executivecommunications
  • Help define, accelerate, track and monitor key cross functionalprograms and results while reporting on performance measures andeffectiveness of implemented strategies to executive leadership
  • Tell clear and compelling stories leveraging data and strategicdirection
  • Identify and analyze business risks, regularly prepare executivepresentations, and actively participate in meetings with crossenterprise leadership
  • Develop and implement communication and change strategies thatconvey strategic objectives across the organization
  • Support preparation of agendas / topics / materials for Boardand other executive meetings in conjunction with other businessleaders
  • Work on additional projects as need including reporting and adhoc analytical requests

Requirements

  • Demonstrated experience developing and executing strategicplanning or larger scale / cross functional programmanagement with 4+ years work experience at Delta, otherlarge corporate entities, strategy consulting firm,investment banking or equivalent experience
  • Ability to formulate an evidence-based point-of-view quicklywith minimal direct guidance
  • Executive presence and communication skills to be aneffective agent of change and vision
  • Superior technical skills including quantitative andqualitative analysis, financial acumen, analytical modeling,data analysis for the purpose of assisting the explorationof strategic options and development of creative solutionsto complex problems
  • Experience researching external trends, sources, informationto form perspectives / points of view / recommendationsgiven quickly changing or ambiguous topics
  • Participation in one or more organizational transformationswith evidence of business change, performance improvement,growth, cost reductions
  • Advanced computer skills, including MS Word, Excel, andPowerPoint are required
  • Fluency in generative AI tools and applications, includingthe ability to leverage AI to enhance strategic analysis,synthesize complex information, and improve productivity;experience crafting effective prompts, critically evaluatingoutputs for accuracy and bias, and applying sound judgmentto integrate AI into business workflows
  • Consistently prioritizes safety and security of self, others, andpersonal data.
  • Embraces diverse people, thinking, and styles.
  • Possesses a high school diploma, GED, or high school equivalency.
  • Is at least 18 years of age and has authorization to work in theUnited States.
