Job description

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented NOC Operations Supervisor to lead our Network Operations Center team. In this pivotal role, you will oversee the daily operations of our network monitoring and support functions, ensuring optimal performance, security, and reliability of our IT infrastructure. Your energetic leadership will drive proactive incident management, coordinate technical support activities, and foster a collaborative environment that emphasizes exceptional customer service. This position offers an exciting opportunity to influence the stability of complex network systems while developing your leadership skills in a fast-paced, technology-driven environment., * Supervise and coordinate the activities of the NOC team to ensure timely detection, escalation, and resolution of network and system issues

  • Oversee monitoring of network infrastructure including LAN (Local Area Network), WAN (Wide Area Network), VPN (Virtual Private Network), firewalls, and other security devices such as Meraki appliances
  • Manage incident response using tools like BMC Remedy, ServiceNow, Jira, and help desk platforms to document and track issues effectively
  • Conduct regular analysis of network performance metrics and troubleshoot software or hardware problems related to computer management, operating systems (Windows, macOS, Linux), and IT infrastructure components
  • Ensure proper configuration and maintenance of critical systems such as Active Directory, DNS, TCP/IP protocols, Microsoft Windows Server environments, and SCCM (System Center Configuration Manager)
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement updates using GPO (Group Policy Objects), manage computer hardware assets, and support desktop support activities including troubleshooting mobile devices and operating system issues
  • Lead efforts in maintaining security protocols by managing firewall settings, VPN access controls, and network administration policies to safeguard organizational data

  • Ensure incident acknowledgment and ticket creation timelines are met.
  • Monitor adherence to escalation procedures.
  • Conduct shift handoffs and operational briefings.
  • Ensure 24/7 staffing coverage.

Requirements

Do you have experience in Team leadership?, * Proven experience in technical support roles with a strong background in software troubleshooting, computer networking, and IT support functions

  • Demonstrated expertise in managing computer hardware and operating systems such as Windows (including Windows Server), macOS, and Linux environments
  • Hands-on experience with network administration tools including DNS management, TCP/IP configuration, LAN/WAN troubleshooting, and firewall management
  • Familiarity with IT service management platforms like BMC Remedy, ServiceNow or Jira for incident tracking and resolution workflows
  • Strong analysis skills for diagnosing complex network issues quickly and accurately
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey technical information clearly to non-technical stakeholders
  • Leadership experience supervising technical teams within a high-volume help desk or NOC environment is preferred, * 5+ years in network operations or NOC environments.
  • Prior supervisory experience in 24/7 operations.
  • Strong troubleshooting and incident coordination skills.
