Job description

A Procurement Manager oversees an organization’s purchasing activities, sourcing goods and services while optimizing costs, managing supplier relationships, and ensuring supply chain efficiency. Key responsibilities include negotiating contracts, analyzing spending, managing vendor performance, and implementing procurement policies to ensure cost-effective, high-quality acquisitions., * Supplier Relationship Management (SRM): Identify, evaluate, and negotiate with vendors to secure favorable terms, pricing, and quality.

  • Strategic Sourcing & Purchasing: Develop procurement strategies to ensure supply continuity and reduce costs,, managing the full procurement lifecycle.
  • Contract Management:

Draft, review, and manage contracts, ensuring compliance with legal standards and company policies.

  • Budget & Cost Analysis: Monitor spending to maintain budgetary compliance and identify opportunities for cost savings.
  • Inventory & Risk Management: Monitor inventory levels and mitigate supply chain risks (e.g., shortages, damages).
  • Team Leadership: Supervise, mentor, and train procurement staff and buyers.

Requirements

Do you have experience in Vendor relationship management?, Do you have a Bachelor’s degree?, * Experience: Proven experience as a Procurement Manager, Purchasing Manager, or similar supply chain role.

  • Negotiation Skills: Strong ability to negotiate contracts, pricing, and service terms.
  • Analytical Abilities: Proficiency in analyzing spend data, market trends, and supplier performance.
  • Technical Proficiency: Experience with procurement software (e.g., ERP systems) and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Communication: Excellent interpersonal skills to manage relationships with stakeholders and vendors.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
