Job description
We are seeking a Purchasing Coordinator for a full-time opportunity with a growing manufacturing company. This role will support purchasing operations, inventory management, and reporting functions to help ensure proper raw material levels and smooth day-to-day operations., * Monitor raw material inventory levels and assist with replenishment planning
- Place purchase orders with approved vendors and track open orders
- Communicate with vendors regarding shipments and potential delays
- Manage inventory and ordering of non-system items such as packaging supplies and materials
- Process receiving paperwork and maintain accurate purchasing records
- Support outside warehouse and co-packer inventory coordination
- Enter schedules and inventory data into the company system
- Assist with physical inventory counts and inventory reconciliation
- Help maintain purchasing documentation and compliance records
- Support label development and updates for private label accounts
- Ensure adherence to food safety, GMP, HACCP, and quality standards
Requirements
Do you have experience in Task prioritization?, Do you have a Bachelor’s degree?, * Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, or related field preferred
- 2+ years of purchasing, inventory, or supply chain experience
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office
- Experience with Navision or QuickBooks is a plus
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail
